Every month, Newark City Schools honors 28 students from across the district in grades 4-12 as Citizens of the Month, for their performance inside and outside of the classroom. This month's lunch was sponsored by Licking Memorial Health Systems. NHS drama presents Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine this weekend
The Newark High School drama department will perform the classic Ray Bradbury story "Dandelion Wine" at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17 and 18, in the NHS auditorium. The story covers a summer in the life of 12-year-old Douglas Spaulding. Tickets are $10 general admission, or $5 for students and senior citizens.  Read More...

Join Carson Elementary School Choir on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017 as your Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Edmonton Oilers. Arrive when doors open at 6 p.m. to watch students perform at the Ice Haus Windows outside of Section 118 near the McConnell Street Entrance. Tickets are $20 for performers and $38 for non-performers in the UpperBowl. For every non-performer ticket purchased $10 goes back to support the choir.
