2014-15 Calendar Now Available

The 2014-15 school year calendar has now been approved by the Board of Education. Find the full calendar at this link, or under Calendar at the top navigation bar. The school year will begin for students on August 20 and end on May 28. Spring break has been moved back a week, to the week of March 30 due to the state testing schedule.

All-City Orchestra Concert Coming Thursday

Orchestra students from across the district will perform at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Newark High School orchestra for the All-City Orchestra Concert. The program is bringing students from each middle school together for grade-level performances, and the high school string orchestra and Sinfonia will also be performing. The orchestra program has also invited all fifth grade students to a pizza party before the concert at 6 p.m. Sixth grade orchestra students will host the pizza party, and the fifth graders will have a chance to play the instruments. Students interested in the pizza party can sign up here.
