I was born and raised in Newark and am a 1993 graduate of NHS. I attended Kent State University then transferred to The University of South Florida and earned my degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. I also have a Masters degree in Educational Technology. I currently teach Algebra II and Applied Algebra II at Newark High and a math course part time at Central Ohio Technical College.

I am Married to Gretchen Dunlap, the P.E. Teacher at McGuffey Elementary and we have four children. I like to stay active by playing sports, going on hikes, mountain biking, and working out. My family and I love to travel and camp whenever our schedules allow us to do so.
