I am one of the PLATO teachers at Newark High School. PLATO is a credit recovery program designed to help students towards the goal of graduation. I have been teaching PLATO since the 2006 school year. Prior to teaching PLATO I taught Social Studies at Newark High School for two years.
I graduated from Sandy Valley High School in 1998. Then I went onto Muskingum University and graduated with degrees in History and Speech Communication. After graduating I taught English in Shenzhen, China for a year. Upon returning I went back to Muskingum and earned my Masters in Teaching.
My wife Stacie is a Kindergarten teacher in the Newark City School District at Hillview Elemetary. I have three girls, Grace, Camille, and Luciana. Unfortunately, I am an avid Cleveland sports fan. I also love the Buckeyes! My intersts include traveling the world, cooking, and spending time with my family...especially swimming!
