Banned Books Week is celebrated the last full week of September. This school year was the first year Banned Books Week was celebrated at Wilson and the students were very excited to learn what Banned Book Week was.
This week Mrs. Young educated students on censorship, intellectual freedom, banned books, and students were able to discover why their favorite book(s) had been banned in other schools and libraries.
