164 members of the Newark High School Class of 2018 have indicated that they plan to attend a post-secondary institution or join the military following graduation. NHS celebrated the students during the first Signing Day event. 2014 NHS graduate Stephanie Wentzel spoke with the seniors, before they shared their after-school plans. Within this year's graduation class, students are enlisting in all five branches of the military; two students are attending the Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County; and students are attending more than 30 different colleges and universities in eight states.
