The Newark Digital Academy (NDA) offers several state accredited, distance learning opportunities for all Ohio students.  We partner with TRECA  Digital Academy (TDA) and the Jefferson County Virtual Learning Academy (JCVLA) to provide students the latest technology to deliver instruction via computers in their homes.  We partner with the CALVERT School to provide traditional home-school curriculum for grades K-8 and the American School to provide curriculum by correspondence to high school students.

Newark Digital Academy is designed for students who have a desire for, and whose education can be optimized by, a program of instruction in an independent environment   Our goal is to take students at their current academic levels, build upon that foundation, and increase achievement at developmentally appropriate rates and levels.  NDA also emphasizes consistent attendance, completion of assignments, and grade level promotion/graduation.   All NDA students are required to take Ohio Acheivement and Ohio Graduation Tests.

The Newark Digital Academy is now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year for students in grades K-12 who reside anywhere in the state of Ohio.
