Carson Elementary and the Salvation Army are teaming up this summer to make sure children have a place to sit down and have lunch. Beginning June 4, the school will be open from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and the Salvation Army will serve a brown bag lunch to children 18 years and younger.
You do not have to attend Carson Elementary to take advantage of this mid-day meal. During the one-hour lunch, a Carson teacher will read stories to elementary students.
This summer program will be available until Aug. 21.
