Hello, my name is Catherine (Cat) Gilligan. I am the very proud Building Secretary for Wilson Middle School. I started working for Newark City Schools seventeen years ago, right here at Wilson. I left for two years to work at Liberty Middle School. I am very happy to be back at my "home school".
I was born in Lancaster, OH, My father got a job at Omar Bread & Bakery in Newark, so we moved. At 5 years old, we moved to Heath and I became a Bulldog. That is where I graduated from High School. I married at 18, and had 3 children. I stayed home with my boys for 15 years. It was the best time of my life!! (school, sports, running like crazy)! I had so much fun raising my kids. They are now adults and I have a beautiful granddaughter. (3 years old).
I currently reside in Heath, OH. I have a fiancé, his name is Brian Nethers, and between the two of us we have five sons. And of course one little granddaughter (and she rules the roost).
I have always enjoyed being around kids. I truly love the "middle school" age group. It's fun to watch the kids grow up in this time of their life. Please call me at Wilson M.S. if there is anything that I can help you with. Kids come first.
