Newark City Schools has a centralized information technology department serving each of our 11 schools and 4 support buildings. We support the mission of Newark City Schools by providing a knowledgable, customer service-oriented technical team; leading-edge classroom technologies; highly efficient, high-speed network operations; cost-effective hardware and software solutions; and strategies to meet district instructional, administrative, technology, and financial goals.

In addition to classroom and office technologies, Newark City Schools provides a Chromebook for all students in grades K-12, with students in grades 5 through 12 taking them home throughout the year.
