Mr. Joe Quackenbush graduated from Newark High School in 1979, then joined the military in 1982 and trained as a combat medic. He attended the U.S. Army Practical Nurse Course, graduating in 1985.

After retiring from the military, Mr. Quackenbush returned to Newark in 2002. He's been employed by Nationwide Children's Hospital since 2006 and is currently the immunization coordinator for the Primary Care Network at Nationwide Children's.

Mr. Quackenbush lives in Newark with wife, Katheran. He has 2 daughters who live in Licking County and 3 grandchildren.
