Qualifications/Requirements:

Applicant must:

● hold a valid Ohio Middle Childhood 4-9 License – Math (any combination with Science, Language Arts, Social Studies) or Elementary K/1-8 Certifi cate

● be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual student

● be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the middle school student

● use data to drive instruction

● incorporate technology into the classroom

● demonstrate skill in eff ective classroom management and student engagement

● be willing to teach intervention skills outside of Math

● must be able to work on a team

● be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the middle school student

● be willing to promote activities to build positive self-esteem in middle school students

● be committed to providing an educational environment that nurtures academic & personal growth of students

● be interested in working with extra-curricular activities that exist in a middle school

● have experience with team teaching or knowledge of team teaching activities

● be acceptable to the Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel
