The Newark High School drama department will perform the classic Ray Bradbury story "Dandelion Wine" at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17 and 18, in the NHS auditorium. The story covers a summer in the life of 12-year-old Douglas Spaulding. Tickets are $10 general admission, or $5 for students and senior citizens.

The Newark High School Band Parents Club is hosting a Spirit Night Fundraiser at Cane's in Heath from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23. 20 percent of all funds will be donated to the band. The fifth annual Pride of Newark Bands Craft Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sat., Nov. 4, in the NHS Auxiliary Gym, 314 Granville Street. Vendors will include handmade crafts, Avon, Scentsy, Tupperware, LulaRoe and more. Admission is $1. Vendors are still being accepted. Space rental is $30, and vendors must have their own table.
