Newark City Schools will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Under this option, all students in the school receive breakfast and lunch at no charge. To determine eligibility for various benefits such as fee waivers, S-EBT, technology fees, AP/ACT/PSAT test fees, and state and federal program benefits that your students' school may qualify for, please click on the following link: https://www.myschoolapps.com/

A new Visitor Management System is being used in all of our school buildings beginning with the 2024-25 school year. Please click here for more information. If you are a visitor that is going beyond the main office, please bring a valid ID with you to the school. Your ID will be scanned and a visitors pass will be issued for you to wear at all times during that visit. We appreciate your assistance as we do our best to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

The Newark City School District is now using ParentSquare to communicate with parents and students from Pre-K through 12th grade. ParentSquare is a simple and safe way to connect and communicate. It replaces previous communication apps such as Remind, ClassDojo, SeeSaw, Band and more. You can use ParentSquare on any device. You can download the free mobile app for iOS or Android or use the desktop version at www.parentsquare.com. You must register with the email address or phone number that the district has on file for your student. Please include your student’s name, school and grade level in the email.
