Every Month, Newark City Schools honors 30 students in grades 4 through 12 from across the district as Citizens of the Month, for their leadership and actions inside and outside of the classroom. Students and their families are invited to a lunch in their honor to celebrate their achievements. The April 2024 Citizen of the Month luncheon was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Newark, Ohio. It's time to register for our 2024 summer camps. Please click each link below for more information. All registrations can be filled out online except for Guitar Camp, which must be turned into your child's school. All grades listed as a student's grade entering next fall. 

Camps:

End of Course Exams will begin on April 9 for students enrolled in English 10, Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology, American History or Government. These tests are required and are part of students' graduation requirement. Due to the length of the texts, the high school will run on a 3-hour delay bell schedule on texting days.
